I was originally drawn into the work of psychology wanting to help people in a meaningful way. Since childhood, I have valued the importance of helping others and believe that therapy is one of the ways I can do this.

As a Registered Psychologist, I value authenticity and enjoy bringing humor, generosity, and evidence-based practices to my clients. My therapeutic approach is integrative in which I use a variety of techniques and approaches to customize therapy to individual needs. I believe healing is achieved in relationships and strive to build supportive and safe connections with my clients. While I enjoy working with individuals facing any life struggle at any age, I am particularly passionate about supporting children and parents impacted by traumatic loss.

Building genuine connections is at the heart of my work. I take the time to truly understand each person’s story and tailor my approach using evidence-based treatments within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I emphasize collaboration to help individuals develop effective skills for navigating uncomfortable emotions and life’s challenges. I support a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, and life transitions.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Prior to counselling, I worked as an elementary educator after earning my Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta.

What really drew me to psychology was seeing how deeply mental health impacts every part of our lives. As a practitioner, my goal is to support individuals in overcoming their challenges and guide them toward healing and personal growth in a compassionate and understanding way.

My areas of focus include relationship challenges, mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression), as well as trauma and PTSD. I also have clinical experience working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and complex trauma. I work with both individuals and couples.
